FetchOtter (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is operated by Mohit Gangrade, an individual based in India.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we handle it when you use FetchOtter.

1. What FetchOtter Does
FetchOtter helps you connect APIs, AI workflows, and webpage extraction workflows to your Notion databases.
Depending on how you use the product, FetchOtter may:
- connect to your Notion workspace
- send requests to third-party APIs you configure
- process prompts you create for AI generation
- extract webpage content you choose
- create or update content in your Notion database
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information we need to run and improve FetchOtter.
a. Account Information
When you sign in with Notion, we may collect:
- your name
- your email address
- basic Notion account and workspace information
We also collect account-related information such as:
- your subscription plan
- subscription status
- billing-related status information
- workspace connection history
b. Workflow Information
We store information needed to run your workflows, such as:
- API request configurations
- API URLs
- headers, parameters, request bodies, and authentication details you enter
- prompt templates
- workflow settings
- destination settings for Notion updates
c. Credentials and Tokens
To operate the service, we may store:
- Notion access tokens
- API credentials you add to workflows
d. Logs and Activity Data
We may collect:
- run history
- workflow activity
- error logs
- diagnostics
- performance data
- basic usage analytics
This helps us troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, and prevent abuse.
e. Temporary Processing Data
Some data is processed only temporarily and is not intended to be stored long-term, including:
- API responses fetched during workflow runs
- scraped webpage content
- AI-generated outputs before they are sent to Notion
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- provide and operate FetchOtter
- authenticate you and connect your Notion workspace
- run your workflows
- create or update content in Notion
- troubleshoot problems and support users
- monitor reliability, performance, and abuse
- improve the product
- communicate with you about your account, support requests, or important service updates
We may also use aggregated or de-identified usage data for analytics and product improvement.
4. Notion Permissions
FetchOtter uses Notion OAuth to connect to your workspace.
Depending on the permissions you grant, FetchOtter may be able to:
- read content in connected pages or databases
- insert content
- update content
- access basic user information such as your email address
We only use these permissions to provide the service you asked us to provide.
5. AI Features
If you use AI-related features in FetchOtter:
- you provide your own third-party AI API key
- your prompts may be processed to generate outputs for your Notion database
- generated outputs are intended to be processed temporarily before being sent to Notion
You are responsible for your use of any third-party AI provider and for complying with that provider’s terms.
6. Scraping and External Sources
If you use webpage extraction or scraping features, you choose the sources that FetchOtter accesses.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to access and use that data.
We do not review or approve every source used through FetchOtter.
7. Payments
Payments for paid plans are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.
We do not store your full payment card details ourselves. Payment information is handled by Paddle and its payment partners under their own terms and privacy practices.
8. Analytics and Service Providers
We may use third-party service providers to help us operate FetchOtter, such as providers for:
- hosting
- databases
- logging
- analytics
- infrastructure
- payments
For example, we may use providers like Railway for hosting and database infrastructure, and may use privacy-friendly analytics tools in the future.
These providers may process data on our behalf only as needed to provide their services to us.
9. Data Retention
We keep data only for as long as needed to operate FetchOtter, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms.
In general:
- Notion access tokens are stored while your account is active
- workflow API credentials are stored until you delete the related workflow
- prompt templates and workflow settings are stored until you delete the related workflow
- API responses, scraped content, and AI outputs are intended to be processed temporarily and not stored long-term
- logs and run history may be stored for operational purposes
If your account is deleted, we aim to delete associated stored account data, credentials, workflows, and logs, subject to any legal or operational retention requirements.
Content already written to your Notion workspace remains under your control inside Notion and must be deleted there if you want it removed.
10. Data Deletion
If you delete your account, we will delete the data associated with that account from our systems, subject to any limited legal or operational retention requirements.
If you delete a workflow, we will delete the related stored workflow configuration and credentials associated with that workflow.

11. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data.
That said, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are also responsible for protecting:
- your Notion account access
- any API keys or credentials you provide
- access to your connected workspaces and services
12. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
We only use your information to operate, maintain, improve, secure, and support FetchOtter.
13. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- the data sources you connect
- the credentials you provide
- the workflows you configure
- reviewing outputs before relying on them
- maintaining backups of important content in Notion or elsewhere
FetchOtter is an automation tool, and you use it at your own discretion.
14. Children’s Privacy
FetchOtter is not intended for children under 18.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without proper permission, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make changes, we will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last Updated” date above.
By continuing to use FetchOtter after the updated Privacy Policy takes effect, you agree to the revised policy.
